Hip Hop Instrumentals

This playlist features instrumental tracks in the style of Da Baby, Roddy Rich & Lil Duval. Two of the tracks are sample flips based containing elements of Marvin Gaye’s “I Want You” and Stevie Wonder’s “Love Light In Flight.”

The concept for “I Want You” is to be done as a conscientious rap/vocal with the artist singing to the Statue of Liberty – “I want you to want me, like I want you,” symbolic of people of color wanting America to love them, as they have love America.
